We have a simple 2-day fishing school that covers all the basics you need to learn to productively shore fish and open water fish in the Gulf of Mexico here in SouthWest Florida. We cover tackle, knots, baits, lures and all the auxillary equiptment you need to be proficient on the water.
You will learn to throw a cast net for live bait. You will learn live baiting, dead baiting, drifiting, bottom fishing, trolling and casting techinues. When and why to employ different methods depending on conditions such as tides, winds, barometric pressure, currents, water clarity and moon phases. And you will learn the habitat of you targeted game!
Your instructors who have decades of local experience and are all licensed charter captains will consolidate their extensive knowledge into one day of land school followed by one day of "hands on" on the water, sea school, implementing what has been covered. To guarantee maximum one on one training, classes are limited to three students per class. The day program costs $300.00/per person and $150.00 for family members under 16yrs of age. |
