Owner and Chef Cosimo Pisciotta is pleased to introduce his family’s recipes which have been passed down through generations and the experience of his career. Cosimo Pisciotta was born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy and moved with his parents to Brooklyn, New York when he was just 8 years old; he spent a lot of time with his family in the kitchen learning how to prepare fine Italian meals and as a young man in his uncle’s pizza shop learning how to prepare New York style pizza. In 1984, Cosimo opened his own Pizzeria/ Restaurant, Upstate, New York which he successfully and passionately continued to operate until 2006 when he relocated to Cape Coral, Florida. In May of 2009 he opened Cosmo’s Pizza and Pasta located at 231 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, Florida, where his goal is to continue to offer the great New York style pizza and fresh Italian food in a casual, friendly and comfortable atmosphere at affordable prices.
